4. Lighting is an important element in making your room stylish, use bedside lamps with cute designs.
5. Add a fur throw to give a funky feeling to your bedroom or try mixing two completely different materials if you dare!
6. Choose pillows in a variety of different complimentary designs, not everyone likes the uniformed look.
7. Black is often underused when it comes to bedroom décor.  Using black in your bedroom adds depth, contrast black details on the bed with a white rug and accessories.
8. Irregular shaped headboards coupled with a unique wallpaper design can add depth and character.
9. Ceiling mounted lamps help draw the eye downward to change a high ceiling to a more intimate setting.
10. Believe it or not, the colour blue helps us relax. Trying painting your walls a dark blue and complimenting it with white bed coverings and white bedroom furniture.
