Modern Painted Kitchen in Dorridge
This Dorridge project created a generous kitchen and family living space using Chippendale Solo painted cabinetry in Sea Mist, contrasted by a green island. The clean, modern door style gives the room a calm, streamlined foundation without losing warmth or character.
Rather than treating the ovens as standard tall cabinetry, we built a stronger feature around the Neff Slide&Hide oven, a composition that flows naturally into the breakfast area, where glazed cupboards and open display units introduce the more traditional details that soften the contemporary furniture. A vented hob keeps the main cooking area equally sleek and uncluttered.
The adjoining utility room continues the scheme, with quartz worktops and a Belfast sink. We designed, supplied and installed the kitchen and utility, and together the kitchen, green island, breakfast area and utility create a practical family home with a carefully judged blend of modern simplicity and timeless detailing.
