Hockley Heath

These returning Hockley Heath clients asked us to replace a kitchen we had originally installed for them twenty years earlier. This time the brief was for a completely different, modern look, opening up the room to support a more sociable way of living.

The previous kitchen was built around an island, but removing the wall between the kitchen and utility allowed us to create a much larger, more open living space.

A substantial peninsula now provides generous breakfast-bar seating while leaving room for a full dining table, giving the family two distinct but connected places to sit, dine and spend time together.

Novus Supermatt cabinetry in Clay is complemented by a combination of quartz and Dekton work surfaces, Siemens appliances, a Quooker tap and Karndean flooring.

We handled the kitchen design, the building alterations, supply, installation, worktops and flooring, and the finished layout feels spacious, balanced and beautifully considered, a design both the clients and our team are extremely proud of.
