Accessible Painted Shaker Kitchen in Kenilworth
This kitchen formed part of a complete bungalow refurbishment in Kenilworth, with the home remodelled around the needs of a busy family. Accessibility was central to the brief, so the kitchen had to work comfortably and independently for a family member with additional mobility requirements while staying practical for everyone else.
We designed the space around an inclusive island, positioning a combination oven at a lower level and building in carefully chosen pull-out storage throughout, alongside stool seating and a lower-level seating area. Chippendale Manor House cabinetry in Botanical is paired with Calacatta quartz work surfaces, Siemens iQ700 appliances, two wine coolers and a Quooker Fusion Square tap in Patinated Brass.
We designed, supplied and installed the kitchen, working closely with the clients and their project designers to balance accessibility, practicality and visual impact, and the family were delighted with the finished space.
